Obi-Wan Kenobi, Episode 3 Deleted Scene: Reva meets Emperor Palpatine.

INT.  EMPEROR PALPATINE'S ROYAL OFFICE - CORUSCANT


PALPATINE sits in his throne chair looking out the window observing the sun setting orange glow

enveloping the city at dusk. REVA walks into the room with VADER following close behind her,  

Palpatine turns around to acknowledge their arrival. The sun finally sets completely at that moment,

and the city lights spring to life as the royal office back drop.


                                                             PALPATINE

                                              Lord Vader, and the defiant Inquisitor, with a new hand I see.

                                              Do you know why I summoned you here Reva?


                                                             REVA

                                              To have me executed publicly.


                                                             PALPATINE

                               (laughing)

                                              No no not at all, in fact I brought you here to give you a special

                                              mission. It has recently come to my attention that Darth Vader has been

                                              training a secret apprentice to eventually kill me, and take rule of

                                              the Empire. Isn't that right Lord Vader?


                                                            VADER

                                               It is my Master.


                                                           PALPATINE

                                                Third Sister, I want you to kill Lord Vader's apprentice, and if you

                                                succeed, you will take Vader's place, become a Sith Lord, and

                                                you will be next in line to inherit the Empire. 


                                                          REVA

                                                Who is Lord Vader's apprentice?


                                                          PALPATINE

                                                STAR KILLER. Have you heard of him?


                                                         REVA

                            (Stressed expression)

                                                Star Killer?!


                                                        PALPATINE

                                                Forget Obi-Wan Kenobi, he is no longer a threat. Do you accept

                                                this new mission?

    

                                                       REVA

                                (Kneeling, with low head bow)

                                               Yes Emperor, I accept.


                                                    PALPATINE

                                               Good. Vader leave us, we have things to discuss.


                                                    VADER

                                               As you wish my Master. Third Sister, my apprentice will destroy you.


                                                    REVA

                                              We'll see.

 FADE IN: EXT. - SAN FRANCISCO BRIDGE - DAY THE BRIDGE. The sun is shining in the late morning, the glimmer of the water below sparkle like diamonds, and while cars, trucks, and the occasional bicyclists ride by (JOHN) a man in his late 60s disheveled from  high winds, still looks strikingly handsome like a fit hiker on a mountain up against the elements, but instead of nature it's a concrete jungle, somehow bypasses the safeguards and climbs halfway up the railing, leans over his upper torso, closes his eyes, then stretches out his arms like that scene in Titanic. No one on the road seems to notice, but a BICYCLIST does and stops, jumps off his bike, climbs up, and grabs John down.
