JASON
(V.O.)
I'm going to die, but why not I'm not anyone special. I don't
even know how I'm still here. A cup of coffee sounds so nice, yeah
just one good cup of coffee before I die, that's all I ask.
(Out loud.)
Just one good cup of coffee before I die.
Jason starts to pilfer through the half-crushed cabinet for any chance to find coffee.
He sees remnants of coffee grinds mixed with debris dust and scrapes it into a pile.
SUSAN stands behind Jason holding a bag of ground coffee, Jason is unaware, and
then she surprises him.
SUSAN
Looking for this?
Jason bumps his head while quickly removing himself from the cabinet, he stands, and turns
around staring at Susan.
JASON
Oh my god, another human being!
Jason hugs Susan.
SUSAN
I'll let this slide under the circumstances.
Jason stops hugging Susan, tears are in Jason's eyes.
JASON
Who are you?
SUSAN
Susan the cafeteria lady.
JASON
Is that coffee?
SUSAN

FADE OUT.
